Description From Owner:
- The creek flows SE into Charlottetown Harbour and was named for landowner Thomas Wright O. 1740-1812). In the fall of 1775, two American privateers, the Hancock and the Franklin, from Marblehead, MA, raided Charlottetown.
- The town was ransacked and some prisoners were taken, including Phillips Callbeck (1744-1790), administrator of the colony and Thomas Wright (1740-1812), the surveyor general. Callbeck and Wright were later released.
