  • The point projects into Pownal Bay off Hillsborough Bay off Northumberland Strait.
  • The place name Crown Point refers to the entire peninsula of which Jardines Point is only part. William Jardine was living here in 1880 and Shadrach Jardine lived here in 1925. Jardines Bay is on the N side of the point.
