  • Village incorporated 1952 in Lot 29 and 2 mi S of Crapaud. P.O. from 1870. On Lake 1863. Queen Victoria was honoured in four different localities in PEI.
  • Victoria Harbour:
  • In 1765 Samuel Holland named the harbour Brockelsby Cove for Richard Brockelsby (1722-97). It was previously called Westmoreland Harbour and Crapaud Roadstead.
