9 mi SW of Charlottetown in Lot 65. School district c1864. P.O. 1892-1914.
Named for Catherine Livingstone Shaw, wife of Malcolm Shaw, who settled here in 1808. Both came from the Isle of Mull. Elizabeth was a cousin of African explorer David Livingstone (1813-73).
