- 2 mi w of Crapaud in Lot 28. P.O. Tryon River 1827-c1864; P.O. Tryon c1864-1914.
- Tryon, Cape: Extends into Gulf of St. Law rance, Lot 21. Named by Samuel Holland 1765 for William Tryon (1725-1788).
- Tryon Head: Extends into Northumberland Strait, Lot 28. Named by Samuel Holland 1765 for William Tryon (1725-1788) under whom Holland served, and who later became Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina. Also called Leards Point and Sandy Point.
- Tryon River: Flows S into Northumberland Strait, Lot 28. Named by Samuel Holland 1765 for William Tryon (1725-1788). De la Roque 1752 and Pichon 1760 rivière des Blonds. Wright and Derbage 1793 has Good Wood Brook for East Branch Tryon River.
- In Micmac Tulesipk, meaning unknown (Rand) or Tlaiang, 'shirt' (Pacifique). Holland also named Tryon Cove at the river's mouth, but it is not in use.
