- 5 mi SE of Borden in Lot 28. PO 1854-1913. Formerly called Clarks Place. Noted as Warblington in PEI Directory 1880-81.
- Adjacent to Northumberland Strait, 5 mi SE of Borden.
- The name honours Major General Augustin Prévost (1723-1786) father of Sir George Prévost (1767-1816), governor-in-chief of Canada from 1811-15.
- Augustine Prévost was in the British army and was wounded in 1759 at the siege of Quebec.
- Prevost Bay: Samuel Holland named it in 1765 for Major General Augustin Prevost (1723-86) who fought with Wolfe at Quebec. The point on the E side of the cove now called Bells Point was formerly called Prevost Point.
