Description From Owner:
  • 5 mi SE of Montague in Lots 59 and 61. Probably derived from Albion Bay, which is shown on Cundall 1851 at the location of present Albion. The bay there is now called Clarks Bay. Albion Mills is shown on Bayfield 1850.
  • Albion was the ancient poetic name for Britain, deriving from light-coloured cliffs along England's S coast. Mount Albion in Queens C. derives its name from the same source.
  • With permission from 'Prince Edward Island Place Names' David E. Scott 2011
