  • 3 mi NE of Cardigan in Lot 53. Possibly named for Lady Fanning, daughter of Edmund Fanning (1739-1818) Lieutenant Governor of PEI 1786-1804. She owned large blocks of land in PEI School district 1865. P.O. 1876-1914.
