Description From Owner:
- 2.5 mi S of Charlottetown in Lot 48.
- The French called this place Anse du Comte de Saint-Pierre for Louis-Hyacinthe Castel, Comte de Saint- Pierre, director-general of the Compagnie de l'Île Saint-Jean.
- It was later named for Keppoch near Arisaig, South Morar, Scotland by Alexander Macdonald. Keppoch Beach is adjacent. In 1995 Keppoch became part of the town of Stratford.
