School district from 1870 in Charlottetown Royalty. The area was annexed to Charlottetown 1958. Meacham 1880 shows Spring Park, the residence of Thomas DesBrisay, on Spring Park Road and within the limits of Charlottetown.
The name Spring Park was given to the property by Robert Gray in 1787.
